Medical Coder

**Job Requirements**:

- Must be available as a **permanent** role
- Must be **very confident** with computers
- **Keyboard typing speed** test done prior to interview
- Work experience in healtchare - **preferable**

The job involves reading letters and documents and inputting key medical data. In the long term and overhaul of the coding system is required.

We are a vibrant, young GP Practice in Willesden Green. We are excited to hire a medical coder to join our team. You'll be working with a great team of receptionist, administrators, doctors and nurses. Previous experience as a medical coder is crucial, and EMIS experience is advantageous.

**Job description**

To work with our vibrant team to undertake medical coding of all incoming documents abd data into the practice. Previous experience as a GP Receptionist or Administrator is advantageous, as is experience using EMIS.

Our patients come from a broad range of backgrounds, but we do have a particular large number of Arabic speaking patients. Speaking **Arabic** may be beneficial for this role but is certainly not a requirement.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
