The role will involve supporting research and audit projects, contributing to service development, and community engagement, as well as developing skills in the delivery of therapeutic groups and conducting telephone based triages under the supervision of qualified therapists. You will receive regular line management support and benefit from a supportive management team.

The service has adapted well to the delivery of services during the pandemic operating an agile working policy where staff combine working at home, on site and in GP surgeries/community centres.
- To support and enhance the psychological care of clients within the Hounslow IAPT service.
- Clinical audits, collection of statistics, and the development and support of audit and/or research projects to improve patient care and experience.
- Support the planning, organisation and delivery of the services wide ranging group and community based workshops programme. Establishing relationships and maintaining close liaison with community organisations, particularly in marginalised groups.
- To conduct telephone based triage assessments under the guidance and supervision of a qualified therapist
- The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities. The ability to speak a second language would be of benefit.
- The post involves being able to work at least one evening a week (i.e. 12pm - 8pm one day)
- To maintain clinical records and statistics as appropriate.

The Hounslow IAPT service is provided by West London NHS Trust in partnership with Anchor Counselling and Twining Enterprise. The service operates from a main hub in Isleworth, with clinics also held in community sites throughout the borough.

We work a core week of 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday, with one evening a week.
