Russell Taylor Group have a fantastic opportunity for a Specifications Technologist to join a growing food manufacturing company who supply to major supermarkets in the UK Our client is looking for someone with similar experience and has had experience working with various specification software systems for retailers.

**The Role**
- Manage and maintain current specifications in a number of specification systems.
- Create new specifications within strict deadlines.
- Be a key contact in managing discussions with a range of stakeholders when required.
- Ensuring all raw materials conform to finished product requirements and be familiar with the specifications of these.
- Manage finished product approval process and liaise with all other relevant teams across factories.
- Monitor specification status by managing trackers.
- Explore specification data quality opportunities and business process improvements.
- Support other teams in transferring existing finished product specs.

**The Person**
- Proven experience in an FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
- Previous experience of raw material compliance and ability to manage existing and new specifications.
- Experience working with specifications systems software for major UK retailers.
- A degree in Food Science or related discipline would be desirable.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
