Head Baker Job in Near Witney Highlights:

- £38k to £42k Negotiable Depending on Experience.
- 40 - 45 hours per week.
- Onsite parking at the Production Unit.
- Internal promotion structure
- Our Central Production Unit is staffed by 2 sections, bakery/production.
- Commercial Bakery primarily sourdough and laminated pastry.
- Baking Shifts, Early Starts and Early Finishes times vary.

The Head baker Job requires an experienced, passionate baker with sourdough experience. Laminated Pastry is an advantage as we are looking to grow this side of the business.

Job Overview:

- The role requires the Head Baker to work alongside the Kitchen manager to ensure the smooth operation of the bakery/production unit.
- We are looking for a person who can motivate, inspire, and mentor a team to ensure the business operates in the most efficient way.

Desired Experience/Skills:

- A sound understanding and experience in sourdough and laminated pastry production
- Understand and produce costings and reports
- Have a sound understanding of financial reports and IT and spreadsheets.
- Have an impeccable attendance record
- A sound work ethic and the ability to train and motivate a team.
