Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare cuts of meat according to customer specifications
- Ensure all meats are handled, stored, and prepared in compliance with food safety standards
- Operate and maintain butcher equipment such as knives, saws, and grinders
- Receive deliveries of meat products and inspect for quality
- Assist in managing inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Provide excellent customer service by offering advice on meat selection and cooking techniques
- ensure shop is clean and tidy at all times
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Butcher in a restaurant or kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proficient in butchering techniques and meat preparation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers effectively
