**ROLE: Treatment Practitioner**
**LOCATION: Birmingham - Marston Green**
**SALARY: £21,881 to £24,240**
I am currently working with a national provider of mental health and substance misuse. Joining their close-knit team, you will be require to manage your own caseload of clients and be responsible for 1:1 interventions, telephone interventions, care planningand coordination and will take a proactive approach to substance misuse recovery. Practitioners also provide advice, assessment, brief and structured interventions, group programmes and training courses.
Initially on a fixed term basis until MAY, with the opportunity for your contract to be extended, you will join an established provider at one of their services on the Solihull/Birmingham borders and play a key role in recovery.
**Responsibilities will include**:

- Manage a caseload of clients with substance misuse and housing needs
- Liaise with NHS partners
- Advocacy and mediation.
- Partnership working.
- Motivational work to encourage entry into treatment
- Independent living skills support and signposting to services
- Care co-ordination
- Therapy sessions such CBT and group
You will have flexibility to work from home and will also spend time in the office and community. Practitioners are expected to work not only from the office but also in primary care, arrest referral, hospital and youth settings and other outreach settingsas required by the service specification. Due to the nature of the role, there is a requirement to work the occasional Saturday morning.

**To be successful within this role you will have the following personality and skills**:

- An interest in Mental Health and Substance Misuse
- Experience working with Caseloads
- Due to the community work a driver would be preferred
