Ideally you will have previous experience in either the print industry or purchasing.Ideally CIPS qualified or undertaking the course.
Good IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, etc).
Able to work in a fast-moving environment.
Excellent communicator with a customers.
Strong organisational skills.
Be able to manage your own workload effectively.
Highly numerate, with an eye for detail.
**Duties to include**:
Assist in managing the purchasing process, from obtaining supplier prices, raising purchases, progressing orders and overseeing from order to completion.
Maintaining material stock levels
Liaise with Suppliers with regards to prices and production timings.
Work with suppliers, outsource supplies and services, obtaining best possible prices.
Receiving and handling customer calls.
Raising job bags and progressing work, managing jobs through from estimate to invoice.
Work closely with the team in assisting to look after key accounts.
