Our client, an established and innovative business,is looking to recruit a Receptionist/Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. The successful applicant will be a confident individual with high attention to detail, good communication skills, proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat. This rolewould suit someone wanting a business they can make their mark in who is used to a fast-paced environment.

**The role**:
Working for an award-winning construction firm in Hull, you will be joining a dynamic and motivated team as front of house as well as working on accounting tasks. You will have proven experience in Purchase Ledger and will be trained on the company's in-housesystem. The day-to-day duties of the role are as below.

**Reception duties**:

- Greeting visitors and managing registers of people signing in/out of site
- Answering the switchboard and diverting calls to correct persons/ taking and passing on messages
- Manage meeting room bookings
- Order stationery and maintain stock levels

**Purchase Ledger Clerk duties**:

- Process incoming invoices, checking against orders/ price lists and delivery notes
- Enter invoices onto accounts system (1000+ each month)
- Query discrepancies with supplier statements for month end and process
- Process and issue cheques/ BACS payments
- Keep subcontract records up to date and process payments
- Reconcile supplier statements for month end process

**To be successful in this role, you will**:

- Have experience working within an accounts role
- Have a friendly, outgoing personality
- Want to work for a tight knit team
