**_Job Role - Yard Driver (Part Time)_**

**_Salary - £12.04 an hour_**

**_Location - BCA Brighouse_**

**_Working Hours - 24 hours a week, 2 possible shifts available_**

**Shift 1 - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 08:00-17:00**

**Shift 2 - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 09:00-18:00**

**Main purpose of the role**

To assist with the daily operations of a busy auction centre through driving and parking various types of vehicles around the yard. Due to the size of our Auction Centres our Yard Operative roles may require a lot of walking and being on your feet throughout the day in all types of weather conditions.

**Your key responsibilities will be**:

- Moving a high volume of vehicles between the yard
- Be responsible for jump starting vehicles when needed, on-site training provided
- Politely refer any issues, queries, or complaints to the relevant manager
- Undertake any other tasks in the yard department to ensure that operational requirements are met

**To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you**:

- Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence
- Happy to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Able to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines
- Willingness to help other departments out when needed
