**We have an exciting opportunity to join our Student Experience Department as a Student Experience **Team Leader on a permanent, full time (37 hours per week) basis.**

As the Student Experience Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of Safeguarding Practitioners in providing effective safeguarding support, intervention and monitoring in a busy college environment.

You will be required to work in line with our safeguarding policies, procedures and risk principles, in order to effectively provide support for students ‘at risk’ of harm, including provision of an ‘Early Help’ offer.

In this role you will work collaboratively with other Team Leaders, Heads of Student Support and curriculum teams across our campuses to continually improve and standardise best practice. You will be responsible or statutory referrals and ensuring the college engages with multi-agency safeguarding arrangements.

In order to do this, you will need:

- Qualified to at least Level 4
- Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics or equivalent
- Experience of working with working with young people and adults in similar environment
- Experience of working with vulnerable / ‘at risk’ young people and adults
- Line Management experience
- Experience of working with internal / external agencies
