We are currently recruiting for a **General Service Assistant** to be a part of our integral team at **Queen Elizabeth Barracks, Strensall, York, YO32 5SW**

**What you'll be doing**
- Serving customers and providing them with the best customer service
- Cleaning main restaurant area
- Operating the till and handling cash, including following cashing up procedures
- Working dinner functions, approx 1-2 per month
- Bar work (must be 18+)
- Client focus - providing excellent customer service at all times
- General cleaning duties of FOH and kitchen areas etc. This includes vacuuming, dusting, polishing, mopping, pot wash.
- Clean back of house and front of house service areas to support delivery of services
- Preparation of any other public facing areas as required including set up for hospitality events

**Experience**
- DBS to be completed
- Previous customer service experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
- Must already have or be willing to obtain their Food Hygiene Level 1 via our online e-learning centre.
