**Job summary**:

- Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills. We inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people, and services providing education and skills for learners of all ages.
- Every week, we carry out hundreds of inspections and regulatory visits throughout England and publish the results online. We also report on standards across the country and are accountable directly to Parliament. Ofsted's inspections are independent and impartial.
- The successful applicant will work as part of the Regional Support team. This team sits within Inspection and Improvement Directorate.
- The Regional Support Team is responsible for providing high quality support to ensure the smooth running of the inspection programme and delivering timely high-quality inspections in all institutions that Ofsted regulates and inspects.
- As an apprentice Regional Support Administrator you will provide efficient, effective and flexible administrative support to the regional team. You will support regional conferences and events and will handle and resolve queries from inspectors. You will also contribute to the running of the region’s operational processes through the maintenance of key systems and trackers.**Eligibility Criteria**Standard** - Customer Service Practitioner - Level 2 (12 months) progressing to Business administrator - Level 3 (18 months)- Over the duration of your apprenticeship, you will spend a minimum of 20% (1 working day) of your time at work completing off-the-job learning. When you start the apprenticeship, you will be allocated a tutor to help you make the most of the training programme.**Job description**:

- The key responsibilities of the role are outlined below. However, this is an overview of the role and is not exhaustive. Ofsted reserves the right to assign other duties commensurate with the grade C1 as required.- Receive and log queries from Ofsted Inspectors promptly and appropriately, answering queries in line with current policies and procedures and escalating as required.
- Support the administration of routine processes to ensure that key serious incidents, waiver requests, correspondence, quality assurance, complaints and other regional work are appropriately logged and tracked through to timely resolution, ensuring work systems are maintained.
- Provide high quality and effective support to a range of regional support activities across all remits including, but not limited to, the support of regional conferences, seminars and regional improvement events, arranging and supporting key meetings and providing IT support to inspectors.
- Provide administrative support across the Regional Support Team as required, including, but not limited to, the maintenance of SharePoint and other systems, processing regional invoices and the co-ordination of stationery and office supplies.
- Provide support to the Regional Director, Senior HMI and HMI, and the wider regional support team, as required.
