**Education Engagement Officer
As an integral member of the Norfolk Virtual School for Children in Care, you will be responsible for commissioning, supporting and coordinating educational activities for young people as identified by the team of Education Advisers.

Through ongoing communication with the team around a young person, you will play a pivotal role in supporting their engagement by ensuring appropriate ongoing educational activities are being provided. Duties could include delivering bespoke programs of support, supervising baseline assessments as well as other associated activities.

You will hold responsibility for monitoring attendance and progress of any children and young people not on a school roll.

Where appropriate you will contribute information to, and participate in, review meetings to enable successful transition back to the school or college where they are registered.
