**Drivers Mate**

We are seeking a reliable Drivers Mate to work with us from the 17th of July 2023, you will need to be available for an interview prior to this start date. You will play a vital role in the delivery team, assisting with the transportation and delivery of flat packed furniture to customers' homes.

**Shift times**: Start work at 05:00 and work until deliveries are completed.

**Pay Rate**:

- £10.92 for up to 11 hours
- After 11 hours (overtime) £16.38
- Saturdays, £16.38
- Sundays and Bank holidays, £21.84

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the driver in loading and unloading furniture onto the delivery vehicle.
- Ensure the safe and secure transportation of furniture to customers' homes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering furniture with care and professionalism.
- Follow procedures and protocols for completing delivery routes.

**Requirements**:

- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy furniture items.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
- Reliable and punctual, able to start work at 05:00 and work until deliveries are completed, typically resulting in a maximum of 9-10 hours a day.
- Willingness to work one night out per week as required.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

**Benefits & Requirements**:

- Hourly rate as above, or the appropriate National Minimum Wage (age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)

- Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
