**The Team**

This position is part of the UK Industry Team and is a remote/home-working role based in NE England covering territory from Newcastle down to Hull.

**Travel **within the assigned territory will occur about 70% of time (including occasional overnights) with a company provided vehicle.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Take responsibility for all Hach Sales into Industry Market in NE England. Visit, liaise, and discuss the process and laboratory solutions with customers.
- Develop strong relationships with customer base and trust in the solutions provided
- Develop your knowledge of water analysis solutions and water treatment techniques
- Develop a career in a truly Global Organisation
- Work in a diverse and friendly atmosphere
- Manage your own diary and have the flexibility to balance work and personal life
- Work with some of the best experts in water analysis and water treatment solutions.

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Previous successful sales experience into industrial customers, preferably selling water analysis solutions
- A degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environment Sciences or equivalent experience. Alternate science degrees will be considered
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable representing products that are technical in nature, with experience gained in a technical product environment
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and the internet
