Cafe Assistant

Lake View Italian Café is a popular destination for many of the visitors to Horseshoe Lake. The café is set within Horseshoe Lake Activity Centre and overlooks the lake allowing our guests to enjoy the scenic views.

Lake View Italian Café prides itself on serving high quality food and drinks. We make all our sandwiches fresh to order, serve hot and cold snacks and beverages, including soup, bacon rolls, pizzas, pastries and cakes.

We are looking for someone to work 8 hours every Saturday.

Your duties will include:

- Providing exceptional customer service. Being friendly, helpful and welcoming to all guests.
- Building sandwiches, making hot drinks using a barista machine and serving other food and drinks.
- Keeping the café clean following our high hygiene standards.
- Handling money, both cash and card transactions.

Who we are looking for:

- Someone with 1+ years of confident customer service (_Essential_)
- Someone with a Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene qualification (_Desirable_)
- Previous experience working with a barista coffee machine (_Desirable_)
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, school holidays and bank holidays (_Essential_)
- A team player with strong initiative and communication skills (_Essential_)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £7.49-£10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
