**About Us**:
The Graham Care Group owns and operates nursing homes and care suites for over 500 residents in Surrey and Kent. The existing seven homes together with the group’s development sites provide the potential to develop places for over 1,500 residents within the next five years.

The business is family owned by Ernie & Dr Karen Graham, who founded it in 1996. Their aim is to provide “homes for life” for residents with on-going nursing care needs.

**About the Role**:
We are currently looking to recruit a Practical Trainer to work alongside our care staff to support with all aspects of care delivery. The emphasis of this role is that it is practical and hands on and would therefore suit someone who has worked as a Carer and who has a heart for sharing knowledge and training others.

**Day to Day Responsibilities include working with staff on**:

- Moving and handling (especially single user operation of overhead hoists)
- Use of continence pads
- Use of Oomph on Demand platform
- Provision of practical tasks for residents to undertake in-line with Montessori principles
- Medication competency
- Provision of personal care (especially resident washing and dressing in the morning)
- Staff use of PPE and hand hygiene
- Resident mealtime support
- Contemporaneous recording on hand-held devices
- Responding to call bells
- Room cleaning and tidying

The right applicant will have a passion for care and want to improve the skills of others to ensure that good care is being delivered to our residents.

A driving licence is essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
