Farringdon, United Kingdom Save the Children Full time

We are looking for a collaborative individual with strong CVA training experience to join us as Global Cash **Trainer of Trainers.**

**About Us**

Save the Children UK believes every child deserves a future. In the UK and around the world, we work every day to give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. When crisis strikes, and children are most vulnerable, we are always among the first to respond and the last to leave. We ensure children's unique needs are met and their voices are heard. We deliver lasting results for millions of children, including those hardest to reach.

**About the role**

Save the Children is a member of the Collaborative Cash Delivery network (CCD), a network of 14 INGOs committed to collaborating for improved impacts of humanitarian cash programming.

At Save the Children UK (SCUK), we are leading a CCD consortium to implement an inter-agency program funded by Disaster Emergency Committee (DEC) to achieve transformative and innovative outcomes within the Ukraine and the regional humanitarian response. An objective of the DEC funded program is that local humanitarian actors in Ukraine, Poland and Romania have institutional and technical capacity and funding to effectively and efficiently respond to conflict related humanitarian needs through quality cash programming in line with international humanitarian standards.

As a part of their training and gaining confidence, in-country cash trainers will in turn train local actors selected for the pilot and other local actors of CCD member agencies. This will ensure that long-term training capacity is developed in each country for sustainability of the approach after the pilot has ended.

You will:

- Conduct capacity assessments for in country cash trainers and for local partner organisations selected by the program.
- Develop technical capacity strengthening plan and approach based on capacity assessments and in line with program design and implementation plan along with staff to be trained (work shadow method).
- Design and deliver cash training to SC Ukraine (1 x in-country cash trainer) & AAH (1 x in Romania and 1 x Poland) using a ToT approach and based on identified priority areas.
- Co-facilitate 3-day training along with in-country cash trainer and AAH training staff.
- Lead on coaching/mentoring to ToTs on an ongoing basis to address emerging issues for ToTs and cash implementation by the selected local actors.
- Design and develop training materials and content to ToTs.
- Develop ToT cash training manual iteratively using learning from the pilot including methodology/pedagogy with a focus on training local partners. In liaison with the local cash trainers, lead on the development of contextualised Ukrainian cash training resources (liaise with CALP in this regard).
- Support the Learning Manager and CCD Collaboration Facilitator with documentation of case studies related to the programs.
- Provide expert advice to partners in developing and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
