Our product range is extensive but at Holwell our focus is makingaccess covers and gratings. We supply to some of the UK's key utilities, telecoms, highways, civil engineering, construction and housing companies. We are also proud to have been named a 'Top Employer' for 5 consecutive years. **Is this role right for me?**
- First and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working; so whether you've never worked in the Foundry industry before, or had years of experience with one of our competitors, you're just as likelyto be a great fit Our next Health and Safety Manager will be passionate about discovering why people behave the way they do and finding solutions to keep our teams safe whilst inspiring them to be just as passionate about safety as they are.
- We work in a high risk environment; we're talking molten metal, chemicals, moving machinery, and hand tools. Our people are the most important cog in our machine so we need a knowledgeable health and safety manager to keep us at our best in terms of makingsafety our priority (we're thinking NEBOSH diploma type knowledgeable).
- We are looking for an expert who can give us trusted advice whilst thinking proactively and acting with energy and passion. A critical friend for our management team (who you will become a valuable part of), and a support for our shop floor teams; investigating,training, reporting, auditing, all the usual health and safety stuff but with an added measure of positivity, dynamism and influence.
- You'll be confident in your knowledge of EHS legislation and communicating with the HSE, BSI, Local government, Environment agency and other external professional bodies and auditors. You'll be part of a wider Saint-Gobain EHS network, but will be the standalone expert for health and safety at Holwell, supported by our Environmental Advisor who you will lead. You will need to be assertive, self-aware and empathetic to be successful in this role, but if you are, the opportunities to make an impact are endless.

As we decarbonise our manufacturing we will enableour customers to choose a drainage system that is truly sustainable which is everyone's ultimate end goal
