Are you passionate about supporting children in Education and have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs? Prospero Teaching are looking for a HLTA in/near the Halifax area.

About the role: You will be supporting students with Special Educational Needs (such as Autism) in small groups or on a 1:1 basis. You will need to have a calm and caring nature, without being phased by challenging behaviour. You will also need to be confidentand comfortable in running interventions.

**CONTRACT /POSITION DETAILS**:

- Location - Halifax (HX3)
- Position - Higher Level Teaching Assistant
- Start date - ASAP
- Duration / Likely Duration - Long term, Ongoing
- Full time/part-time - Full time
- The minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate of £80 per day
- Hours - 8:30 - 15:30

**EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Previous experience of working with SEMH, Autism, ADHD would be desirable
- Experience working within a school or similar setting
- Team Teach Qualification would be highly desirable
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided)

**TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST**:

- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Provide two professional references

**OTHER**
- Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management
