Working Hours: 37 hours per week - MATERNITY COVER
**Salary**: £29,127 - £44,060 per annum, pro rata

We are looking for a Lecturer in Chemistry to join us on a full time, fixed term contract covering maternity leave.
You will work closely with management, colleagues and students to ensure success for both college and students. You will deliver specific programmes that focus on Chemistry in line with our prospectus and contributing to our aims and objectives. This will lead to successful outcomes for students and provide a positive overall experience at the college.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in teaching Science to help shape the future of Cadbury College. You will have a good track record in raising attainment and standards and will be an innovative practitioner with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
You will be committed to inspiring and motivating students and be a team player with excellent communication skills. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and optimistic and always looking for the best from our students, whilst also continuously working on your own professional development and growth. To be considered for this role you will have an academic background in Chemistry along with a recognised teaching qualification, (L5 or above). We will also consider someone who is working towards obtaining this qualification. You will also possess a great theoretical understanding of Chemistry and its practices and a willingness to share knowledge and expertise with our students to inspire them for future career development. We are specifically looking for someone with experience in A/AS Level and BTEC Applied Science Level 3.
