At Ruby Violet we create bespoke ice creams, vegan sorbets and frozen delights using only organic milk and the most simple or unusual fresh ingredients in Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire. All our ice cream is made from scratch including inclusions from jams to brownies and brittles.

We are looking for a Kitchen Porter/ Kitchen Assistant to join our team

**The main duties will be**:

- Ensuring basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible;
- Cleaning all churning & pasteurising equipment;
- Cleaning food preparation areas;
- Unloading food and equipment deliveries;
- Keeping work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised;
- Stock control;
- Food preparation: Juicing fruits & following Ruby Violet recipes for biscuits etc;
- Performing other duties as required including deep cleaning and laundry
- 37.5 hour contract (Additional hours may be required during busy periods)
- 2 days off per week
- 5.6 weeks holiday with the option of taking additional holidays unpaid
