We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic person who will compliment our close friendly team. We want our customers to enjoy tasty food and great service in a welcoming and safe environment and to play an essential role in delivering this we are looking for a Kitchen Leader.

As the only person cooking during your shift, you'll be fully responsible for preparing food for service whilst maintaining the kitchen to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

**About the role**
- Preparing and presenting food in line with menu specification
- Working pro-actively and supporting general kitchen duties such as housekeeping, ordering stock, controlling stock levels and wastage
- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure your customers are presented with their meal to a high standard and on time.
- Working on party days, which required a high degree of concentration and multi-tasking
- Developing your knowledge of dietary requirements and allergies plus health and hygiene

**About you**
- A passion for food and delivering great customer service
- Good flexibilty for overtime
- Excellent multi-tasker and ability to work confidently under pressure
- Experience of working in high volume food service or similar role
- Knowledge and understanding of kitchen health, safety and hygiene rules
- Holding a relevant food safety qualification would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided

Working hours are 9 - 5 on Sunday and 9 - 3.15 on Monday.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 14 per week

**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour
