**About The Cart Shed Catering 2020**

The Cart Shed Catering 2020 Limited is a Beverley based outside catering company which caters for some of life’s most precious & memorable events.

Specialising in street food including stone-baked pizzas, hog roasts, BBQs, loaded fries, burgers, hot dogs, grazing tables, ice-cream and dessert platters the work is varied, fun, and sociable.

We are looking for a highly motivated, fun, driven, team player with a passion for good food and for delivering outstanding customer service to deliver unforgettable food as we strive to be the best catering company in East Yorkshire

**Job Role**:Co-ordinator

**Salary**:£18,000 - £21,000 negotiable on experience

**Hours**:30 hours a week, day-to-day hours are flexible but must be based around business and event needs

**Overtime rate**:£12.90

**Reporting to**: Directors Yasmin Clappison and Philip Hagyard

As The Cart Shed Catering Co-ordinator you will take the lead of the day-to-day running of the business, drive it forward in terms of growth: into new venues and locations within Yorkshire along with increasing revenue and profitability in current locations. You will review our offering, pricing and menus as needed to ensure all new ventures and changes are profitable.

**As Co-ordinator you will be expected to**:

- Have a passion for outstanding food
- Be present on days we have bookings to be front of house co-ordinator
- Build good relationships with clients and guests
- Conduct meetings with clients
- Issue new and update existing contracts
- Create and send invoices
- Create and maintain budgets
- Create a strategy to push the business forward and execute strategy
- Create and deliver a marketing strategy and update the website, social media and listings
- Set the team monthly & quarterly goals and targets
- Plan daily schedules
- Put together an event timeline and ensure it goes according to plan
- Order stock, uniforms and equipment as needed
- Create job descriptions
- Interview and hire employees
- Issue new starter documentation and onboarding documents
- Set goals, tasks and motivate employees
- Ensure team members know and understand their job roles
- Update adverts and listings
- Attend wedding fairs
- Create new policies and procedures where needed
- Renew insurances and policies
- Create a health & safety pack including food hygiene
- Write thank you cards
- Be confident in answering the telephone

**You will also be expected to**:

- Know how to or be willing to learn how to use a CRM system
- Be able to or learn how to use Xero accounting software
- Be able to work during the week, evenings, and on weekends
- Manage the cleanliness and safe operation of the kitchen and equipment
- Maintain our 5* food hygiene rating
- Ensure checklists are completed

You will be expected to attend weekly team meetings every Monday and the job role may develop and change as the business grows.
