**Hours of Work (Day Shift only)**
- 8am to 5pm (Monday to Thursday)
- 8am to 1pm Friday

**An Overview of the Role:

- **

A an experienced Assembly Operative you will be responsible for performing various tasks to operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned production line.

You will also be responsible for inspecting & fitting parts to specifications and making adjustments, fittings or using tools that require changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications.

**Essential Criteria:

- Have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within engineering or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Production Procedures (recent work history 2 + years in manufacturing
- Working of hand held tools
- Ability to Read Blueprints, Schematics and Manuals
- Analytical Skills
- Attention to Detail
- Teamwork
- Physical Stamina and Strength
- Handle Heavy Equipment
- Work Independently

**Day to Day Duties:

- **
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- You will be required to work with rolls of materials.
- Assembly is also crucial to this role as you will be required to assemble parts onto the end of the rolls of materials.
- You will need to have used hand tools, drills etc and be comfortable with any aspect of this job be it assembly; packing; operating machinery.
- Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment start-ups and operation on multiple pieces of equipment.
- Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with mínimal wasted time and materials.
- Housekeeping and sanitation.
