**What will you be doing?**The Front of House Waiter/Waitress will oversee the functions of an exciting new catering provision opening around the end of May/ beginning of June of this year
- Café Bryn Euryn, based in Mochdre. In addition to serving good quality homemade food and drinks, the café will also provide a training provision and vocational experience for young people and adults with Learning Disabilities to learn and develop skills and knowledge required to work in a catering environment.**Specific duties include**:

- Welcoming guests and promptly attending to tables
- Keeping the front of house area (including external seating area) clean and tidy, clearing tables, completing opening and closing duties, stock tableware and other supplies
- Serving food and beverages to guests making recommendations if needed
- Communicating with the kitchen regarding questions including; length of wait, product availability, meal requirements, dietary needs and special requests
- Handling payments of goods and services
- Preparing hot and cold drinks, including operating the barista machine
- Supporting Adults with Learning disabilities to develop their catering knowledge and experience

About you
- You will have experience of working with members of the public
- You will have experience of working in a Catering environment
- You will have the ability to speak Welsh or the commitment to learning
- You will have the ability to communicate effectively with a supported person and their family/Carer and other professionals
- You will have the ability to complete tasks following defined process
- You will be able to plan own day and prioritise workload
