**Geo-Environemntal Consultant - Manchester**

My client is a successful environmental consultancy specialising in all stages of development with services delivered to clients across the UK. This client works on a wide range of projects including: commercial developments, housing estates and small propertyextensions. Although focused on all aspects of geotechnics my client has an extensive contaminated land department working on projects such as: petrol stations, scrap yards, power stations and railway land. This role is ideal for someone looking to broadentheir site work experience under the supervision of experienced and senior professionals.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Completing both field and office based projects to a high standard
- Factual reporting
- data entry of fieldwork result
- Liaising and reporting to senior staff members
- Client liaison
- Data processing
- Willingness to travel

**Needed qualifications and experience**:

- Relevant in degree e.g. Geology
- Some practical experience in phase 1 and 2 studies
- An understanding of geo-environmental engineering
- Ability to work as a team player with good communication skills
- Excellent report writing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Ability to travel to different sites
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
