**BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT WORKER**

**Duration**: Long Term Contract

**Hours**: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday

**Pay**: £70 - £80 per day

Leader Education is currently recruiting for a number of Behaviour Support Workers for a specialist school in Cleckheaton.

The school provides education and support for children aged 14 - 16, who have been identified as having Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students are children who have been excluded from mainstream education, or are on time-limited turnaround placements, and exhibit challenging behaviours. The specialist centre focuses on the individual needs of the students and providing them with routes into employment through Functional Skills and vocational learning.

These are long-term placements to start immediately and with a view to going permanent, depending on safeguarding checks.

Team Teach training is advantageous, however free training may be provided.

Similarly, previous experience working with children with SEMH/SEN needs is also advantageous, however transferable skills from similar sectors will also be considered.
