This is an exciting opportunity within Windsor Academy Trust. We are looking to appoint a dedicated and ambitious leader with responsibility for SEND to join our team at Windsor Olympus Academy (WOA). WOA is our brand new free school due to open in Sandwell in September 2023, recruiting 180 pupils from Sandwell and Birmingham. The school will cater for pupils aged 11 to 16. It will open with Year-7 pupils only, as a six-form entry school. WOA will grow year-on-year to provide education for 900 pupils after five years.
Windsor Olympus Academy will create the right environment for young people to flourish, igniting their passion and love of learning, enabling them to thrive academically. We will awaken students’ aspirations and develop their understanding of well-being and health, enabling them to thrive personally. We will be at the heart of the community.
The role will include coordinating and monitoring the delivery of SEND provision. You will be innovative and will lead the SEND provision of the school as it grows, supporting all learners to achieve to the best of their abilities.
