TCS Geotechnics are a leading provider of specialist geotechnical products for the construction and civil engineering industries We are looking to hire a part time Ledger Clerk to join our busy accounts and admin department.

**Main responsibilities and duties**
- Inputting supplier invoices on to Sage 50
- Reconcile monthly supplier statements
- Preparing pay run
- Requesting copy invoices/PODs
- Dealing with internal and external queries
- Logging, maintaining and filling invoices
- Booking in stock
- Assist with month, quarter and year end processes

**The Person**
- Proven experience as a purchase ledger clerk or in a similar accounting role
- Have the attitude to grasp and process new information quickly
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated with good time management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
- Willing to learn
- Previous experience in the construction industry would be an advantage but not essential.

**Working pattern**
- 20 hrs Mondays essential negotiable on other days.

**Holidays**
- 20 days (pro rata) in the first year then 25 days per annum after year 1

**Experience**

At least 2 years working in an accounts admin/ ledger clerk function.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
