**Duties and Responsibilities**

We expect all our Ancillary Assistants to work as part of a team which provides a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas throughout the home. As part of the Ancillary team you will be expected to complete the following tasks:

- Housekeeping
- Follow the cleaning schedules to ensure that the communal areas of the home and residents rooms are clean and presentable.
- Kitchen
- You will provide support to the Chef in the running of the kitchen ensuring that you follow the appropriate food hygiene regulations, whilst keeping the kitchen and all equipment in a clean and tidy manner.
- Laundry
- When you work in the laundry you will complete all the ironing and washing for the home.

Overall, we are looking for a team player who can work supervised and unsupervised in aspects of housekeeping.

**Requirements**:
We provide training for all of our new employees therefore it is not essential that you have previous experience. However, it is essential you are a compassionate and caring individual that has a desire to work within a care environment.
