This vacancy is new to the business, and due to business success and growth plans, the role would suit an independent thinker who has a good level of communication skills verbal and written.

Working Monday to Thursday 07.30 to 16.30 and Fridays 07.30-13.15, on completion of a successful probation period you will receive 33 days holiday (25+ bank holidays) and a company pension. Workwear and PPE will be provided along with any other training required to ensure you can complete the job role required of you.

The Quality Inspector role will work closely with the expanding production team, provide pre-build, build and post-build inspections, report any issues, and suggest improvements directly to the Production Manager.

The client is a UK Manufacturer that provides innovative designs in a variety of specifications to suit customer requirements, these may be bespoke requirements all based on vehicles.

The main duties required (but not limited to)

Work with the production team to ensure that the vehicles are built to a relevant type of approval / ISO9001

Conduct routine in-build inspections making sure vehicles is built in line with the companies control plans and Cop (Conformity of production) requirements

Carry out inspections on new and used vehicles arriving on site

Liaise with vehicle suppliers for any rectification work required on used vehicles

Perform some light aspects of the rectification where necessary

Route 1 is acting as an employment agency in relation to this position.
