**ADMISSIONS ASSISTANT**

Required from 24 April 2023, to work in the Admissions and Marketing Department. The Admissions and Marketing Team is the first point of contact for families interested in a place for their daughter at Farnborough Hill and aims to provide a warm, welcoming and knowledgeable first impression of the School. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person with excellent interpersonal skills to help deliver outstanding customer service to prospective families.

This role forms part of the Admissions and Marketing team and reports to the Director of Admissions and Marketing. The role will have responsibility for all aspects of routine admissions administration. This is a full-time position with 25 days holiday (to be taken during school holidays) and working hours of 8.30 am - 4.30 pm (including an unpaid lunch break of one hour). Salary will be according to qualifications and experience on Farnborough Hill’s pay scale.

Key Responsibilities

**Dealing with admissions enquiries**

**Admissions administration**
- Processing registrations accurately and in a timely manner ensuring all necessary documents have been received and are in order
- Managing the reference request process, engaging professionally with feeder schools
- Ensuring that pupil admissions files, both paper and electronic, are complete and appropriately organised
- Liaising with the Head’s PA to arrange interviews for prospective families
- Assisting the Head’s PA with arrangements for the entry examination and scholarship assessments for both Year 7 and Sixth Form September entry and occasional places in other Year Groups or at other times during the School year, invigilating assessments where needed
- Assisting the Head’s PA with the preparation of offer documents
- Support the Director of Admissions and Marketing with post offer administration including processing acceptances and ensuring all information on database is correct
- Assisting with onboarding of new joiners to the school including collating important information in a timely manner.

**Marketing the School in a positive way**
- Assisting with parent tours and follow up, ensuring information on school database is appropriately updated
- Assisting with organising school marketing events including but not limited to Open Afternoons, Busy Bee Taster Days, Senior School Evenings and conversion events

**Data and systems management**
- To maintain accurate and up to date admissions data on the school’s database (iSAMS) at all stages of the admissions journey
- Support with analysis of applicant data and production of reports as required during the year
- Ensure all data is handled in compliance with current Data Protection legislation

**General school administration**

Where required, and in consultation with the Director of Admissions and Marketing, support administration within the School more widely, particularly during the School holiday periods

**Terms and Conditions**

The appointment will be made from 24 April 2023 and is a full-time position with 25 days holiday and working hours of 8.30 am - 4.30 pm (including an unpaid lunch break of one hour).

Terms and conditions will be discussed at interview, in conjunction with salary payable.
