Medical Receptionist

EDS Homecare (Eyam Domiciliary Service Ltd) is a family business that has been providing high quality, professional homecare services for people living in the Peak District, North Derbyshire and South Yorkshire for over 20 years.
The role requires an analytical and organised individual who is able to remain patient focused and flexible on a daily basis, whilst remaining calm under pressure.
**Summary of Role**
To provide a high standard reception service to the clients, staff, general public and healthcare professionals, ensuring that enquiries are promptly, efficiently, and courteously handled.
**Reception Duties**
- Handle in-person/telephone enquiries.
- Monitor and greet visitors including deliveries.
- Log and update enquires and requests on our management information system.
- Liaise with the EDS management team to prioritise and organise enquiries to ensure efficient task management and completion.
- Liaise with carers, relatives, clients, and multi-disciplinary teams to provide updates and information.
- Take telephone payments.
- Update computer and manual records, as necessary.
- Alter changes of address/phone numbers promptly on records.
- Assist with staff onboarding such as new unfirm, company mobiles and digital profiles.
- Occasionally be responsible for the opening and closing of the premises in the morning and evenings, including setting and restoring the telephone service and Alarm System.
- During quiet periods, assist other members of the office team with tasks to ensure maximum efficiency of the EDS Management team.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace daily and weekly.
- Such other duties within the scope of the role as may be agreed from time to time.
**Working Pattern**
Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 14:00
**Remuneration**
This position is paid at a rate of £10.50/hour, equating to £13,650/annum
**Job Type**: Part-time
