**Band/Pay rate**:Band 2 - £11.45 per hour plus enhanced pay for weekends and bank holidays

**Contract**:NHSP Bank (Temporary role)

**Rota**:Various shift patterns

**Hours**:Sat - Sun 07.00 - 19.00 (1hr break)

**The Role**:
**Can you bring your housekeeping skills to a hospital environment? Do you have strong customer service skills and enjoy working in a team?**

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Full unit walk round removing all clutter from rooms/corridors.
- Ensure all food items are covered to avoid contamination.
- Ensure all patients have alcohol-based gel within easy reach.
- Top up all PPE in donning room and dani-stations with aprons & gloves.
- Ensure all daily fridge checks are completed, all food/drink must be labelled & dated.
- Clean kitchen work surfaces, microwaves & tables, ensuring green clinell wipes are available.
- Ensure all full sharps bins awaiting collection are closed and signed.
- 4 hourly checks of toilets and patient changing rooms ensuring they are clean and free of clutter.
- Ensure there are 70% alcohol-based wipes on all COWS and at each computer/telephone station.

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:

- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
