Babysitter/nanny

Daily Nanny sought in Hendon NW4 for a warm family of four, with a 5 year old (B) and a 4 month old baby (B).

7-7 Monday to Friday

Around £15-18/h gross

Five year old attends reception during the day. The baby is at home.

The role will be a mix of sole and shared care. All nursery duties required including cooking, laundry and shopping.

A full time housekeeper and a cleaner are also employed.

The family would ideally be looking for a nanny with childcare qualifications and for someone who is caring and dynamic. Driving licence desirable (with car provided on duty if needed) but not essential. Working Mon-Fri 60 hours pw, 7am to 7pm. Travel required within the UK and abroad for approximately 6 weeks throughout the year (negotiable). March start ideal but flexible. £13-£15 net per hour depending on qualification and experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate with the parents.
- Help care for children.
- Take children to and from activities.
- Cook meals and snacks for children.
- Provide basic medical care such as bandaging and emergency response.
- Put children to bed at the appropriate time.
- Supervise children at home or in public areas.
- Display appropriate behavior.
- Follow all applicable safety laws (for example, car safety seat laws and infant/child CPR guidelines).
- Be a role model for other professional caregivers.
- Be able to handle emergencies.

**Salary**: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
