Due to our continuing growth, we are looking for 2 permanent, additional enthusiastic, hard-working and friendly colleagues to join our team that produces our award-winning Pates, Dips and other ready to eat food.

**Key duties and responsibilities**
- Accurately that match ingredients to recipes, using the appropriate weighing and measuring equipment
- Prepare ingredients to the highest standards, ensuring accuracy and that all food safety requirements are met
- Ensure that all recipes are followed exactly, and the associated paperwork is accurately completed
- Use a range of kitchen equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Assist in the cleaning of all kitchen areas during, and at the end of, daily production
- Raise any discrepancies in a timely manner, using knowledge and initiative and escalating to a Team Leader as appropriate
- At all times work in a safe manner, and consistently adhered to Health and Safety processes and guidelines
- Safely move ingredients and finished product to and from chills and freezers, as directed by your Team Leader
- Assist in ensuring that all finished products and ingredients are correctly labelled
- Assist in ensuring that the dates on products being dispatched are accurate
- Flexibly take on any additional tasks required by the business

**Knowledge and Experience Required**
- Proven experience of preparing products in a similar environment
- Be confident working in a kitchen environment
- An understanding of Health and Safety appropriate to this role
- The ability to work well within a team
- Able to pay close attention to detail and follow instructions precisely
- Experience of working within a food environment would be beneficial

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour start rate, rising with training. (£9.00 per hour start rate for 16 to 18 year olds). We also pay various bonuses.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
