**We are recruiting Catering Assistants at Caerphilly County Borough Council.**

**Working hours**: 7.5 Hours (1.5 hours Monday - Friday)
**Contract Type**:Permanent / Part Time /Term Time Only
**Location**: Trinant Primary /Waunfawr Primary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Catering Team.

**For the role, we ask that you have**:

- Level 2 Food Safety or be willing to undertake and achieve the qualification within 3 months in the role.
- A general understanding of the role in order to meet the needs of this vital service.
- An ability to work at various sites throughout the borough when required, to meet the needs of the service.
- If you do not hold a Level 2 Award in Food Safety and Hygiene in catering, we hope you will be prepared to receive food safety awareness training and other appropriate courses relevant to the post.
