Operations Director

We are looking to recruit an experienced Operations Director for my clients charming collection of chic and stylish apartments. Appointed with subtle elegance, an emphasis on comfort, they are located in the heart of London, Cheltenham, Edinburgh and Inverness.
The role of the Operations Director will require frequent travel and periods away from home to lead, manage and hold accountable the property managers. The role can be based either in London, Cheltenham, Edinburgh or Inverness
Job Objective
The Main purpose of the Operation Director is to set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity. To design policies, set brand standards, oversee customer service, and implement technology solutions. A responsible leader with ananalytical and strategic mind and a broad knowledge of the hospitality business.
- Ensure that all Operation Managers fully understand the brand standards and that these are being cascaded throughout the wider operations team.
- Protect the company’s assets by properly administering company policies and procedures throughout the Operations department.
- Maintain high personal visibility throughout the group properties.
- Coordinate internal training and development programs.
- Conduct regular and frequent property audits to include adherence to brand standards and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement asset management and preventative maintenance programmes.
- Conduct weekly Level 10 Operations meetings to review outcomes and set goals for the week.
- Ensure compliance in relation to fire, health and safety, employment, and other applicable legislation.
- Degree/HND in Hotel or Business Management, or equivalent.
- Several years related multi-site experience.
- Experience in operating properties under Management and / or Franchise agreements is preferred.
- Must be a strong leader, self-motivator, and team builder with strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated success in skills for coaching and leadership, planning and organisation, problem solving and decision making, interpersonal and communication, personnel management.
- A mature well-rounded individual who will be respected and perceived as a leadership figure.
