Our client is a rapidly growing manufacturing business looking to appointed into the newly created role of Engineering & Maintenance Manager.
**The opportunity**
As Engineering & Maintenance Manager you will play a key part in the Management Team, as they look to develop and embed an effective proactive and preventative maintenance to support a rapidly expanding site with significantly increased demand from customers.You will play a key part in improving reliability and availability of existing assets, whilst identifying the right opportunities to invest in new technology.Working closely with your team, you will lead, manage and coach your team to create a world classmaintenance team to maximise performance of assets.With budget management responsibility, you will also focus on the ongoing training and development of your team to enable them to reach their full potential.
**About you**
As an experienced Engineering or Maintenance Manager, you will have proven experience in the delivery of a high quality maintenance service to support an organisation undergoing a period of change.With well developed communication skills, you will demonstratethe ability to give confidence to Directors at a strategic level, whilst translating this into a tactical plan to work with Production but then a resource development plant for your Technicians.Your previous experience in effective budget management willenable you to understand how to maximise plant performance with ageing assets but also to be able to assess the right business cases for investment to meet demand.
