COOK/CHEF VACANCY

Growing Minds is a welcoming nursery with a homely atmosphere, offering care and education for 44 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

Every individual involved in our nursery, is valued, respected and heard because we believe in building a nursery where everyone is happy.

At Growing Minds Day Nursery we are currently seeking to appoint a Cook/Chef who is committed to providing high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks.

The role will be worked over the full year. Minimum 22 hours per week (Monday 08:00 - 13:30, Tuesday - Friday 09:15 - 13:30).

You will:

- Have experience in a similar work environment preparing and cooking healthy hot and cold meals and snacks that offer a variety of flavour combinations for young children.

Your responsibilities:

- To order all products required
- To organise, cook and prepare a healthy balanced diet for children from birth to 5 years
- To ensure that all exacting food hygiene and health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times
- To complete quality control and appropriate records
