**MS316 - Maintenance Technician**
**Location**: Ely
**Salary**: £27,345 - £38,998 per annum
**Overview**: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a full time Maintenance Technician on behalf of one of our clients.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Execute routine and non-routine maintenance activities in accordance with approved processes and procedures.
- Provide out of hours support in ensuring that availability and output of the station is maximised at all times.
- Investigate plant problems and identify solutions.
- Prepare and present technical reports.
- Maintain work and activity records.
- Carry out continuous plant condition monitoring routines.
- Ensure effective planning is in place with adequate and competent resources available.
- Ensure that safe working practices and procedures are adhered to in line with the SHE Management System.
- Supervise other staff and contracted personnel as directed by the Maintenance Co-ordinator.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- To participate in the Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Management System within the production teams of operations, maintenance.
- High level of technical plant awareness, anticipating events to ensure smooth operation of the station.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Ensure full implementation and improvement of the computerised maintenance management system.
- Minimum of 5 years in the power utility sector or a similar process industry.
- A time served recognised apprenticeship.
