**Ferry Cleaner/Relief**

**Role Requirements**
- Demonstrable experience in delivering high levels of ‘Customer Service’ in a busy customer-facing environment.
- Be a pro-active and assertive team player, with a positive can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail including accurate record-keeping and report writing
- Keen to develop both their own skills and support the continued development of the organisation.
- A minimum of 12 months experience in ‘Cash Handling’ (including dealing with floats/cashing-up)

**Role Responsibilities**
- The primary role will consist of cleaning the ferry, slipways, and associated infrastructure. Our client runs a busy 24/7 service every day of the year with shifts covering 24hrs a day to deliver a schedule of 1, 2, or 3 Ferries. Weather conditions canbe challenging and on occasion make tasks more demanding.
- The role requires extensive daily interaction with the public and working with a wide variety of crew and staff.

Our client delivers an important public service to join Plymouth with the Rame Peninsula in South East Cornwall.The service operates up to 3 ferries at any one time, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.It is the busiest estuarial ferry crossing in the UK,carrying approximately 2.4 million vehicles per year.
