MASS are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Targeting Advisor to support the delivery of Defence Targeting Enterprise (DTE) tasking. This exciting opportunity requires an individual who can bring their targeting expertise to support the DTE's development programme for the UK's targeting capability. The Advisor will design and develop solutions to meet DTE requirements and seek new opportunities in the targeting domain in order to win business for the company. Working as part of a high-performing team, the successful applicant will enjoy a strong degree of autonomy and associated responsibility. A significant proportion of the task will have to be delivered on site at MOD Northwood.

**Job Purpose**

The primary purpose of the role is to support the delivery of Defence Targeting Enterprise (DTE) tasking. The secondary purpose of this role is to provide targeting advice and support to Joint Warfare (JW) for the delivery of kinetic targets as part of the Joint Effects process.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide specialist targeting advice to DTE and JW to enable the kinetic part of a Joint Effects campaign delivery;
- Liaise with J2, DIFC Wyton, Permanent Joint HQ (PJHQ), Standing Joint Force HQ (SJFHQ), and Joint Force HQ (JFHQ) in order to deliver artefacts as required to support the planning process;
- Produce target packs/lists generated by a higher authority to support exercise delivery (where required);
- Remain fully aware of all aspects of policy and security to ensure that the targeting training stays aligned to current UK policy;
- Assist the RLS team as required (providing it does not detract from core outputs above);;
- Undertake other tasks to support the team (where required);
- Comply with Company policies and procedures (including the MASS Management System);
- Adhere to the Company values.

**Qualifications & Experience**:
**Essential**:

- At least 5 years' experience of UK targeting process (including ROE, permissions, target development, and target approval process);
- An understanding of MOD procedures and approvals;
- An understanding of NATO and US targeting and approvals process;
- Previous military service;
- Security clearance as per customer and site requirements.

**Desirable**:

- Previous consultancy experience;
- Commercial background;
- An understanding of the broader Joint Effects process and Information Advantage policy and doctrine.
