The University Library is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Academic Liaison Librarian. This exciting, varied, and developmental role supports the Academic Liaison Team, focusing on the Faculty of Media & Communication, in particular the Department of Humanities and Law. It provides teaching, including legal information skills; student support; enquiry services and collection management. The role also contributes to the delivery of several team priorities which may include online guidance, archives, researcher support, research data management and peer learning schemes.

As a librarian, you will utilise your excellent people skills to work collaboratively with faculty, professional services and Library & Learning Support colleagues. Your knowledge of higher education and enthusiasm for developing your own teaching skills will enable you to support the development and delivery of sessions for our established Study Skills programme. Your interest in research data management and commitment to open access will enable you to contribute to the institutional repository teams.
