Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various mechanical systems and components. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to effectively use hand and power tools.
Salary negotiable depending on experience
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, servicing and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles and equipment
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs
- Test mechanical systems to ensure proper functioning
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues
- Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies
**Skills**:
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
**Salary**: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
