**Role Summary**

Here at Seashell we provide care and education for children and young people (up to 25 years old) with complex communication needs and learning disabilities within our SEN Ofsted ‘outstanding’ school, our specialist college and our state of the art residential setting all on our single site.

We have an opportunity for an Assistive Technology Assistant to join our AT team in a part time role working term time only with a requirement to work an additional 7.5 days during the school holidays to support the workload of the Assistive Technologists.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a growing Assistive Technology department, to provide effective and efficient administration support to the team. You will have strong administrative skills and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Responsibilities will include:

- Administration of mobile technology using the latest Mobile Device Management software carrying out regular back up of devices.
- To respond to any ad-hoc queries regarding purchase orders, following up orders and using financial software to receive orders, maintaining budget spreadsheet and tracking spend
- To set up new suppliers and carry out appropriate GDPR activities to ensure any new software is GDPR compliant. To carry out Annual GDPR administration working closely with our Data Officer
- Maintain the assets register of equipment and updating the lunch Menu Kiosks
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team

**Requirements**:

- GCSE English and Maths grade A-C or equivalent level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy
- Ability to prioritise, work unsupervised and complete tasks to deadlines.
- Excellent administration skills with good written and verbal communication skills
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to grasp new specialist software
- Previous experience of working directly with children and young people with limited communication skills would be an advantage
