We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef in a well-established, ever-growing venue in the West Midlands area.
This venue is fun, exciting with quick service, cooking for high volume numbers. Offering breakfast service, lunch buffets, a la carte menus and carveries, as Head Chef you will be able to work well under pressure, ensuring your team come together and deliverto a high standard.
Duties of Head Chef include -
- Running a large team in the kitchen, being able to train, develop and nurture junior members
- Having autonomy over kitchen, team and menus and being able to put your own mark on the place
- Will want to implement kitchen standards and ensure they are maintained?
- Being aware of financial targets including food GP, stock levels and departmental profits, ensuring they are exceeded?
- Ensuring high levels of food safety & kitchen hygiene are maintained
- Will oversee stocks & supplies?

As Head Chef, you will be passionate about cooking and food, be personable and able to build good rapport with people, have a structured approach with a long-term vision.
My client is looking for someone that is looking to provide longevity and have a positive approach to growing with their business. The role is a full time position working any 5 days out of 7 paying a salary of £45k per annum. A number of benefits are includedwithin the contract, one of these including the Christmas period off work
