**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Safely and efficiently transport house furniture from one location to another
- Load and unload furniture onto the van
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Utilise mechanical knowledge for securing items during transport

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent positive attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Drivers licence and own vehicle

**Wage/Hours**
- The length of each day varies dependant on the job. You will be required to be flexible on finish time, as you will be expected to work until the job is done.
- A typical day would start 7-8am and finish 5-6pm.
- You may work some long days, but not 5 in a row.
- Starting salary for a porter is £11.50, increasing to £12 with experience.
- A porter that is also a van driver will be on £13.50, increasing to £14 with experience.
