Working as part of a close site HR Team this role reports directly into the site HR Manager covering all aspects of HR in the delivery and execution of the overall site HR agenda and getting involved in HR strategy providing first line support and business partnering to the site operational managers.

THE ROLE:
Assisting the HRM with providing day to day advice and guidance to operational site Managers supporting with adherence to HR policies and procedures, employment law and all things HR related.
The HR Advisor will be the main point of contact for general HR enquiries.
Advising and navigating Managers through disputes, sickness, disciplinaries and grievances
Supporting end to end recruitment, Onboarding, Inductions etc
Producing data, reports and KPI's for HR activities, maintaining the HR data system
Ensuring all people related compliance administration activities are carried out.
Assist with processing to Time & Attendance and payroll (providing cover in times of absence)
Working closely with the site HRM to build a strong HR support team across the site

THE CANDIDATE:
CIPD level 5 (or working towards)
At least 1 - 2 years working in a busy HR team in manufacturing
Excellent employment law knowledge
A real desire to work in a busy operational environment supporting operational Managers.
Excellent ability to build credible relationships with all stakeholders
Accurate and organised work - "detailed and accurate"
Confident and interested in understanding how the plant works
A good operational HR generalist background and capable of delivering a good HR service to the site at this level
